Overview

In 2009, NICE (National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence) reported that the cost of impaired workplace performance as a result of stress was £15.1 billion a year. This figure does not include the cost of absenteeism as more than 13 million working days are lost per year as a result of work-related stress, anxiety and depression.

This 2-day Stress Management Skills Training course will provide you with an in-depth understanding of the cognitive and physiological mechanisms underlying stress and help you identify sources of stress and your stress triggers. Most importantly you will leave this course with a healthy toolbox of strategies for coping with or managing your response to stress. The techniques provided are transferable life skills in that they are equally applicable to personal stressors as well as stress in the workplace.
