NLP Practitioner
For those who wish to develop a deeper understanding of the principles and approaches of NLP, undertaking a thorough Practitioner Training is an important step. The Watt Works NLP Practitioner training is a full-length, 120 hour training that covers all the traditional NLP Practitioner concepts, methods and techniques in a highly interactive, experiential learning context. During this course we cover a broad syllabus and the training will be of value to a wide range of delegates including, but not limited to: managers, salespeople, teachers, parents, coaches, sportspeople, team leaders, HR professionals, therapists, counsellors, communications and marketing professionals, negotiators, self-employed business people, medical professionals and anyone wishing to improve their communications skills and ability to ethically influence others.
At Watt Works we have a great interest in conveying skills relating to business and working environments so we will be drawing out applications of NLP of particular relevance to those fields.

In the modern world the potential applications of NLP are getting more and more recognition. Skills in NLP can enable Practitioners to:
- Establish rapport and more productive working relationships
- Get a greater sense of how others view the world and understand how to communicate with them with maximum effect
- Establish achievable goals and monitor progress towards them
- Manage one’s own personal ‘state’ optimally and influence the states of those around us
- Generate creativity and problem-solving mind-sets
- Negotiate more effectively by understanding the Values of others and ‘dovetailing’ outcomes
- Recover more resourcefully from setbacks or unexpected events
- Create and utilise effective internal Strategies to produce desired outcomes
- Use language effectively to both elicit quality information by asking the right questions and also generate co-operation and resourcefulness
- Unstick ‘stuck’ situations
… and much more.
In understanding NLP we often talk about the fundamental Presuppositions – the Attitude of NLP – which inspire a methodology, from which flow many specific techniques and applications. Whilst at Watt Works we guide our students in developing fluency in the NLP techniques, we constantly encourage them to keep sight of and embody the Presuppositions and methodology. These touchstones give Practitioners much greater flexibility and an ability to respond creatively when a specific technique perhaps does not produce the expected result. We also stress the importance of learning and applying NLP within an ethical framework and with an awareness of the ecology of the approaches used.
