by Damian Hamill 00:00 - 30th April 2012

Read on to find out how we at Watt Works can contribute to this...

by Damian Hamill 10:30 - 15th February 2012
Years ago I read a book by one of the major developers of Solution-focused Therapy, Bill O’Hanlon. Bill referred to a fantasy novel, The Wizard of Earthsea, as a wonderful metaphor for personal change, growth, healing and relating to aspects of ourselves. I have recommended the book to...

Powerful Presenting for Career Success

by Damian Hamill 10:30 - 9th February 2012
One of the factors that typified the late Apple CEO, Steve Jobs, was his laid back presentation style. He would stand up in front of the world and introduce a revolutionary product as if he was showing it to a group of intimate friends and associates.  Yet there are other...

by Damian Hamill 10:30 - 5th January 2012
Today I read a post from an intelligent, accomplished and resourceful person lamenting the fact that if she wanted to get another two hours work done a day she would not be able to continue getting out of bed at 7:30am. Let’s set aside the fact that half past...

Sleep – the Dark (and absolutely critical) Third.

by Damian Hamill 11:26 - 16th December 2011
This morning’s Independent newspaper reports the return to work of Lloyd’s Chief Executive, Antonio Horta-Osorio, after a period of sick leave caused by insomnia. In this blog I would like to bang on again about the foolishness, nay the absolute insanity, of believing that we can compromise on sleep...

by Paul Russell 12:00 - 15th December 2011
It must be nearly Christmas because I watched The Great Escape at the weekend. The Great Escape is one of my all time favourite films and I enjoy it now as much as when I first watched Steve McQueen on his motor bike trying to jump the barbed wire fence...
